St. Anne's Church

Legend has it that Napoleon was so taken with this late Gothic church that he considered having the whole thing removed to Paris. Why did he love it so much? Standing in front of the edifice today, there's little room for doubt. Although it's difficult to tell from the pic above, take our word for it that this is in fact a tiny church. But the building is full of character. In short, 'Boney' saw his mirror image and it was love at first sight. Incidentally, the interior is not half as imposing as the facade, but that's enough Freudian analysis for one day.
