Wander up the hill at Uzupis and you'll soon arrive at the gates to this little hideaway. Step inside and you'll discover one of the most poetic spots in this town (and that's against some pretty strong competition). The graveyard was established in 1810, adjoining the older Bernardine nunnery next door. Technically there's still a lot of restoration that could be done, but you can't help feeling that over eager renovation would rob the place of much of its character.
