Skonis ir Kvapas

This cozy, relaxing hangout is great on a number levels, and as such, it's likely to be packed no matter what time you go. Literally "Taste and Smell" in Lithuanian, Skonis ir Kvapas' specialty is their fine selection of teas (presented on an oriental fan-shaped menu) and the unique handmade stoneware that they serve it in. If you're feeling peckish, don't hesitate to order an "avocado and shrimp salad," "veal salad with grapes," or anything for that matter, from the first-rate kitchen. Water pipes, tobacco and cigars (though we're not sure where you can smoke them) are also on-hand in the classy confines of this great meeting place for friends and colleagues. Look for it tucked off a courtyard on Traku.

This is one of the most relaxing places in Vilnius to have a drink and catch up with friends or a business meeting, whatever. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the food and drink menus don't leave anything to be desired. The clever kettles they serve the tea in are made locally and make a great gift or souvenir of the city. Recommended!
