It's unfortunate that you have to travel deep into Uzupis to find a simple mom and pop place like this serving simple, hearty food in a small, homey space. This is the closest thing to a Polish milk bar we've seen in Vilnius, though arguably better. The prices are unbeatable, with soup and an entree running you only about 5 to 7 litas and why not throw in a beer while you're at it for only 3 litas? The portions are large, so you'll leave satisfied. Though no English is spoken, a loosely translated menu does exist, so get adventurous and enjoy a down-to-earth home-cooked meal with the working class. Closed on weekends. |
