Amatininku Uzeiga

Chances are, you'll be lured in by Vilnius' resident drunk and this place's namessake - the jolly craftsman with the large grog of ale, riding the barrel above the door. Though his promise of beer-drinking bliss is far from unfounded (it can even get a bit dodgy here late-night), this is really more of a restaurant serving reasonably priced, and therefore all the more delicious, traditional Lithuanian food. The no-nonsense atmosphere, great location, delicious food, and a kitchen that stays open late have made "The Craftsman Inn" very popular with locals and foreigners alike. To top it all off, the two lonely vegetarian dishes on the menu actually don't have meat in them (unlike the veggie entrees of many other places in town) - inconceivable!

Very expensive and stinks inside. Beer is not the best. The kitchen is ok, but there are better ones around.

This place is legendary.

I've been a regular at Amatininku for a few years now.... it is one of the best bars in Vilnius!!!!
Service is sometimes fast, sometimes slow... the beef steak is the best in town & the staff are usually very friendly indeed:)

Nothing wrong with the place at all

Watch out for this place. They first gave me the bill of 70 litas, I gave the bartender a hundred, she gave me 10 litas in return. When I complained about it, they called security, then they told security that I had not payed at all, and told the security to take me to the police station, so I simply had to pay it all over again. This IS AVERY DODGY PLACE, WATCH OUT!

What a s**thole!! Miserable staff, warm beer not to the top and it stinks!!

avoid this place. interesting outside sign does not guarantees good service inside. We passed in just for beer and snack, the table was not clean, and the beer snack "pork leg" has not meat all all:) do not order this snack, cause you will pay for NOTHING. nagtive rate for this restaurant.
