Uzupio Klasika

|
This restaurant/cafe in Uzupis is classy and small and trying really hard. Particularly when live saxophone players serenade you with smooth jazz over a backtrack during your dining experience (Did I accidentally order a corny street performer with my meal?). Something seems a bit funny with the off-kilter polish and poshness of this place...still the food is surprisingly good and affordable, and the space is a comfortable one (sans saxman) for a coffee drink in the afternoon or glass of wine in the evening. They offer an extensive breakfast menu from 8:00 to 11:00, which is something that can be hard to come by. Perfect for suits who are really goofballs at heart. |
