| Lithuanian Song and Dance Celebration Coming around only once every four years, this is the one event this summer you won't want to miss (and if you're in Vilnius already it will be nigh-impossible). 35,000 participants will flood Vilnius and Kaunas eager to infuse these cities with their singin' and dancin' spirit. On the 5th, you'll have the opportunity to hear a 400-member folk orchestra and discover T's traditional folk instrument extraordinaire - the kankles. On the 6th, head to Sereikiskiu Park for Folklore Day and its inevitable outpouring of embracing, swaying and singing.
