Bradt Book Due In Shops

Vilnius is not the best covered city in the world when it comes to guidebooks, but travellers in search of a decent tome will have a new option this Spring.

The award-winning Bradt firm is publishing their Vilnius guide this Spring, and it should already be possible to order the book online.

The only other Vilnius travel book in English at the moment is Tomas Venclova's 'Vilnius: City Guide', a very useful volume, but highly difficult to get hold of outside Lithuania itself - something of a major hitch if you're keen to swot up on a bit of history before setting out on your great adventure.

Bradt's 'Vilnius' has been written by Howard Jarvis and Neil Taylor - the former is a full-time Vilnius resident. The book will come with 256 pages of information, including 8 maps.
