It may be 50 kilometres from Vilnius, but if you're setting yourself up here for the long haul, this is your top spot for some putting escapades. Besides the joys of a world class course with the full 18 holes, the set-up has a club house replete with an excellent restaurant commanding fine views over the course. What's more, the club is set in delightful countryside that conjures up images of hunting medieval lords and pagan myth. You could well imagine a Lithuanian Lady of the Lake thrusting a sword from the waters.
