There's something bravely innocent about suggesting a night of bowling to your buddies, but if you've tired of the dingy oubliettes and sleazy meatmarkets of Vilnius' bars and clubs an embarrassingly good time at the lanes might be just the thing. One of our all-time favourite sports to exercise futility in, it's all fun and games until you discover one of your friends used to be a semi-pro bowler. Knocking a few beers back has always helped us knock the pins down, so go the bar for strength or solace. If that fails, fear not; in addition to the two bowling lanes, there are a bevy of other games to try to oust your friends at including foosball and billiards. It may not be the place to be seen, but you can still feel uber-hip in those retro bowling shoes. Attached to the Quality Hotel, this bowling bastion near the Barbacan is open to everyone. |
