I highly recommend Hostelgate or Vilnius Backpackers. A great location near the Town Hall. It was very clean and the staff is friendly. I need to try a private room next time.

A bit of a walk from the old town but good value for money as the rooms are big and well equipped a 3 star with 4 star service.

Yes I agree with previous reviewrs..superb place.you can't find that homely ambiance anywhere else in Vilnius and the cuisine is of a very high quality..I lunch there regularly..I very highly recommend it.

A good place to stay - not 5*, but the price is reasonable. Reception is polite. Knows many languages. Room service is really good.

Okay, admittedly this place looks a bit dodgy, but really it's not. I stayed here a year ago and had an excellent time. In fact, it was from here I think I fell in love the city. It really captures the essence of Vilnius for me. When I was there, there was no way you would characterize this place as anything but a hostel. But now it looks like the prices have gone up and maybe that's why it isn't listed as one. Expect old-world hostel standard when you arrive. It's all charm, baby...

Vilnius Backpackers

On a strange trip to Vilnius, I had the uncharacteristic experience of spending two straight weeks in this place. The extremely friendly owners Fionna and Valdas were very gracious and accommodating about hosting me. Renata is a peach. I miss them. Vilnius Backpackers is absolutely a great home-base from which to explore Vilnius. It has a great communal atmosphere is probably the best place in town to stay if you want to meet people and socialize.
