This small family hotel makes up for its suburban locale by suckering you with homemade sweets, cakes and tea. We love it. 7km from the Old Town in a very green district, they offer transportation to and from the hotel and airport pickups. The emphasis here is definitely on making you feel at home with the cosy rooms, gated yard, kitchen access, free breakfast and the general attentiveness of an elderly aunt who's always sending you off with bags of popcorn and cheese curls from her inexhaustible larder of strange processed foods. Okay, that's more like our aunt; Aistis is more like the good Granny who won't take the oven mitts off or let you leave the table. Need a break from the ma and pop atmosphere?
