Vilnius Backpackers

This small 24-bed hostel can be a challenge to find, but once you do you'll be in pole position to enjoy everything the city has to offer. Run by really friendly people that know what they're talking about, Vilnius Backpackers is a cosy, welcoming hostel in the centre of the Old Town where you won't be able to escape everyone there knowing your name. In fact, escaping at all can be problematic as many people end up extending their visit thanks to the charms of the city and community-feeling of this hostel.

I highly recommend Hostelgate or Vilnius Backpackers. A great location near the Town Hall. It was very clean and the staff is friendly. I need to try a private room next time.

On a strange trip to Vilnius, I had the uncharacteristic experience of spending two straight weeks in this place. The extremely friendly owners Fionna and Valdas were very gracious and accommodating about hosting me. Renata is a peach. I miss them. Vilnius Backpackers is absolutely a great home-base from which to explore Vilnius. It has a great communal atmosphere is probably the best place in town to stay if you want to meet people and socialize.
